ESKINAZI AND DU PLOOY RETAINED FOR 2025 EDITION OF THE HUNDRED

Yesterday it was announced that both Stephen Eskinazi and Leus du Plooy have been retained by their respective franchises ahead of the 2025 edition of the Hundred.

Eskinazi will feature for Welsh fire again and Leus du Plooy will return to the Utilita Bowl, representing Southern Brave in the competition which runs from 5th-31th August.

Du Plooy reached the final of the 2024 edition, losing out to Oval Invincibles in the final at Lord’s.

It was also announced yesterday the Steven Smith will join Eskinazi at Welsh Fire after becoming a direct signing. Another direct signing was one of our newest additions, Kane Williamson, who will captain London Spirit’s men.

148 places were filled through direct signings and player retentions across both the men’s and women’s games, and there is still 68 places to fill during the Hundred draft on 12th March.

There will be an opportunity for other members of our squad to feature in the Hundred this summer if unsuccessful in the draft, through the Vitality Wildcard picks which will take place following the conclusion of the Vitality Blast group stages.

Members can purchase tickets in the Hundred priority window which is open now until 18th March. More information can be found HERE.
