The former Chair of Middlesex’s Centenary Youth Trust and fundraising consultant by profession, Chris came through the Middlesex junior ranks to join the professional staff in 1979. After winning Blues at Cambridge, Chris moved to Hampshire for 4 seasons. He has been a member of Richmond CC for more than 50 years and has been the club’s Chair since 2001. His 1st XI Middlesex County Cricket League career spanned 4 decades, 9 as Captain. He was on the Middlesex CCC Committee/Board for 25 years, still sits on the Club’s professional cricket committee and is a member of MCC’s Members & General Purposes Committee. Chris’s commitment to, passion for and knowledge of recreational cricket within Middlesex is lifelong and deep and as a Trustee of MITC, he is determined to see cricket at all levels enjoyed by our community in as many different ways as possible. Professionally, he is acknowledged as one of the leading fundraising consultants, having worked in the not-for-profit sector for more than 30 years. In 2017, he led the strategic review of the MCC Foundation, work that was the catalyst for the Foundation’s spectacular growth in recent years.
