Sports and particularly cricket have played a transformational role in Nelson’s life. As a 13 year old child growing up in the humble parts of Kenya, Nelson had a life changing experience whereby a chance encounter with a wealthy businessman watching him playing cricket, resulted in a sponsorship to continue his education and passion for sports in the UK. It has been this experience that has driven his passion for making a meaningful contribution towards democratising opportunities and levelling the playing field in sports, organisations and society.
